Repeaters & Facilities
WECA operates and maintains a network of repeaters serving greater Westchester County across multiple VHF and UHF bands. Most of our systems are analog FM; one separate 70 cm system operates DMR (digital). All analog repeaters use a PL / CTCSS tone of 114.8 Hz. Our repeater systems are kept running by our dedicated Repeater and Engineering Directors.

Primary 2 Meter Repeater — 147.0600 MHz
Our primary 2 meter FM repeater operates on an output of 147.0600 MHz (input 147.6600 MHz) with a PL tone of 114.8 Hz. This is the best place to listen and check in. You can also listen to it online via Broadcastify.
Note: During summer band conditions, distant repeaters can sometimes be heard on our 2 meter frequency. Once a local station keys up using the 114.8 Hz PL, the distant interference subsides. This is normal, especially in summer. See our Propagation & Band Conditions page for live solar data.
70 cm Analog vs. DMR — Two Separate Systems
WECA has two separate 70 cm (UHF) repeaters, and they are not the same system:
- 447.4750 MHz — FM Analog (input 442.4750, PL 114.8 Hz). A standard analog FM repeater — not DMR.
- 438.7125 MHz — DMR (Digital) (input 433.7125). This is our digital repeater. It uses Color Code 14, with Time Slot 1 → TG 3136 (NY State, full time) and Time Slot 2 → TG 311438 (WECA talkgroup, full time).

Repeater Acceptable Use Policy
WECA has adopted a Repeater Acceptable Use Policy that describes how all of our repeater systems should be used. Please review it (see the Downloads page) and operate courteously. If you have questions or hear users who do not comply with the policy, email Repeaters@weca.org.
